The 6 of us piled into the hired tarago at just after 5am and we were on our way.
We’re on our way to Melbourne to catch a flight to Auckland at 6:30pm tonight. We’ve just passed through Stawell and so far, so good.
The tarago isn’t a bad car. Fits the 6 of us ok, but the seats are awful. I have a new appreciation for musos on tour.
Here’s our very basic itinerary for those interested…
New Zealand
Saturday 4-July — drive from Adelaide to Melbourne
Saturday 4-July — fly from Melbourne to Auckland (12:15am Sunday)
Sunday, Monday in Auckland
Monday 6-July — drive to Rotorua
Tuesday 7-July — Rotorua stuff
…
Friday 17-July — fly from Christchurch to Sydney
Honolulu
17-July — Fly from Sydney to Honolulu
30-July — Fly from Honolulu to Sydney
Deb and I are off on holidays for 4 whole weeks.
We leave tomorrow morning (Saturday, 4th July) and get home on Friday night the 31st of July.
We’re off to New Zealand with cousin Laura and boyfriend, Ben + cousin Liam and girlfriend, Kaz.
We then part ways and Deb and I will venture onto Hawaii and Honolulu / Waikiki and so-on.
